Buckhead South is located just 18 miles from Savannah, Georgia along the southeastern coast between the Ogeechee and Tivoli Rivers in Richmond Hill (Bryan County), Georgia. Buckhead South's neighborhoods of Hampton, Keller Crossing and Tranquilla Hall are within minutes from the historic Fort McAllister State Park, Fort McAllister marina, downtown City of Richmond Hill and the Ford Plantation formerly owned by Henry & Clara Ford. Located in Georgia's "low-country", we are very fortunate to live near the water and several first-class beaches and private islands with natural preserves. Boating along the Ogeechee and Savannah Rivers, visiting the beaches of Tybee Island, Hilton Head Island and St. Simon’s Island and touring historic downtown Savannah are just a few of the ways we spend our free time. Our good weather and sunny skies make outdoor enjoyment a year round activity. 

​Buckhead South provides our members with a wide variety of recreational amenities including swimming pool with kitchen and restrooms, lighted tennis and basketball courts, playground, and baseball/athletic fields. • BSHC Annual Meeting was held 02.05.2024 at New Beginnings Church (at the Buckhead North entrance), 7pm. Discussed were the financial report, election of officers, amenities, and more. Minutes from the meeting are available in the documents section of this site.
  

The pool season is mid-April through mid-October. and the pool gate operates electronically. You must have an activated key fob to gain entry, one per household.  If lost or stolen, there is a $25 replacement fee, so please keep it safe during the off-season and transfer it to the new homeowner/resident if you move out.
